Brand new lawn mower. Didn't work. Told by customer service they "sometimes" are sold defective. The good news is that they keep many service stations in business with their low quality waste of time and money machines.

I bought a new snow blower, with a Briggs and Stratton engine, in 2014. After sitting idle for a month, the engine will not start. I have to pay the dealer to pickup and drop off the snow blower. The dealer rebuilds the carburetor, then it works until it sits idle in the garage for another month. I have talked to several small engine repair shops and they all tell me the Briggs and Stratton carburetors and engines are junk. They tell me if... Read more

As many reviews I've read do not purchase a storm responder generator, just had the same exact result, motor blew up and no warranty, they will not stand behind their product, quite honestly I'm surprised, guess their just living on a name and not caring about reputation, sad, way to go America

In collaboration with these OEMs, Vanguard has developed a Marine package to satisfy the rigorous demands... Read more

purchased 1st model late summer of 2014. when I went to use it in May, it poured water from main "body". I assumed I had stored it wrong over the winter. Thinking Briggs & Stratton was one of the best brands on the market, I gave it to my son in law (he works on engines) thinking he would repair it, and use it. I went to Lowes and purchased a second one for me...yes, I was in a hurry to get my pool area cleaned. Now one year and 3 weeks later,... Read more
